 I am passionate about dermatology and strive to provide thorough, comprehensive and accessible care to my patients.

The newest member of our team is Liza Byrne. Liza received a master’s degree in medical science through the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine Physician Assistant program. As part of her degree studies, Liza completed specialized clinical rotations in dermatology and reconstructive surgery. Her formal medical training has been augmented by a focused dermatological training period under the direction of Dr. Goldberg. Raised in Tucson, Arizona Liza has a keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and assists Dr. Duane Whitaker with Mohs surgeries, excisions and suturing. Liza is also skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of acne, rosacea, eczema, warts, moles and rashes, as well as the treatment of burns and non-healing wounds. Liza is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
