With Rachel Chánes’ extraordinary dedication to Pima Dermatology, leading our staff, and supporting our community at large as Board President at Our Family Services, she was awarded the 2018 Women of Influence Award for Administrative Champion Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Women of Influence Awards Dinner, which recognized all of these exceptional women in our community! Her nomination was judged alongside others in her category by a panel of independent judges.
Rachel Chánes leads our practice of 30+ employees with immense enthusiasm, creativity, and a true passion for her profession. Her leadership style creates harmony among our team and a drive to be our personal best. She places an emphasis on creating a healthy work environment that celebrates each and every staff member as a unique individual, rather than just an employee. This, in turn, creates more of a “family” dynamic in our office, where we put unity and teamwork at the forefront for immense success with our patients and practice. She makes Pima Dermatology a truly rewarding place to work.

Rachel Chánes, MBA, CMPE, is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) by the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), the certification entity of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). She is one of only nine CMPE’s in Tucson, making Chánes uniquely distinguished and specialized in her field.
Every year, Tucson Local Media and Inside Tucson Business host a special ceremony to honor the region’s most impressive female entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, physicians, academics—any woman who has made a significant contribution to her local community—at the Women of Influence awards.
